Disney Is Now Selling A Joy Division Mickey Mouse Shirt
Disneyland Resort and Disney World Resort just placed this Unknown Pleasures inspired shirt on the market. Made just for those especially depressed Mouseketeers!
According to the Disney Store, this design is "Inspired by the iconic sleeve of Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures album, this Waves Mickey Mouse Tee incorporates Mickey's image within the graphic of the pulse of a star. That's appropriate given few stars have made bigger waves than Mickey!"
I wonder if Disney realizes that the lead singer of "Joy Division" is actually iconic for depression, suicide and drug addiction. As demonstrated by this extremely happy model.
