So, you just made the big move to Los Angeles. It's warm and beautiful and the people are...interesting. However, you've got some adjusting to do. Rich with diversity, self-proclaimed "creative" people and amazing food, Los Angeles can also be expensive, dirty and often baffling. Eventually, you are going to love it. But for now, keep these 5 signs of transplant-dom to a minimum.

1. Someone says that Ashley Green is sitting behind you at a coffee house. That name sounds familiar, did I go to highschool with her?

2. You realize that people in "the industry" are everywhere. How can this city function with so many actors just sitting by a pool, waiting to be called back?

3. You are oddly appreciative of the barbed wire fence behind your apartment complex.

4. You refer to the 5 as I-5, resulting in your ostracization by any newfound LA friends or peers you may have acquired.
