Every time I saw that slogan I giggled a bit, thinking of Kang and Kodos from the Simpsons: “We must go forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling toward freedom!” (And I say this a Canadian who likes Obama and would have voted for him if I could).
