Avenging what happened five years ago in perfect turnabout style, the Dallas Mavericks won their first NBA title by winning Game 6 of these finals in Miami 105-95 on Sunday night — celebrating on the Heat's home floor, just as Dwyane Wade and his team did to them in the 2006 finals.

The King of Flop! Those of you who saw the Miami Heat/Chicago Bulls NBA Eastern Conference finals are already familiar with LeBron James' penchant for flopping and faking bodily contact to draw fouls. But did you know LeBron also does that in NBA 2K11 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? I guess video games indeed are getting more and more realistic these days...

God Bless "Amarica!" A Yahoo search for Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) pings back her official website proclaiming her to be "Amaricas Congress Woman." And yes, that's the same Michele Bachmann who routinely has accused political opponents of being anti-American. (to be fair, she might not have needed to know how to spell it in order to say it all those times)

Really?!?! In quite an odd choice of words, the term "Negro" is listed as a synonym for "Black" and "African-American" on the 2010 U.S. Census.

Brolific! Wikipedia's entry on bromance comprehensively informs readers on the "close but non-sexual relationship between two (or more) men, a form of homosocial intimacy." Also -- in case you never noticed -- the entry points out that the term itself is "a portmanteau, a combination of the words 'brother' and 'romance.'"
