“It aint necessarily so” regarding some of the names on this atheist hit parade. For example Mark Twain [who definitely did not claim to be a Christian despite his respect for Christ’s teachings] wrote: “the being who to me is the real god is the one who created this majestic universe” near the end of his life. But the most telling error is listing Helen Keller as an atheist, who wrote: ““For three things I thank God every day of my life: thanks that he has vouchsafed me knowledge of his works; deep thanks that he has set in my darkness the lamp of faith; deep, deepest thanks that I have another life to look forward to—a life joyous with light and flowers and heavenly song.”
