This has already been done before and was posted on buzzfeed no less. The previous story was about a guy physically abusing his girlfriend. It had a much better setup and the lyrics were in the correct order. Fuck this post

That was so lame. It wasn’t even the correct set up to a Fresh Prince reveal. The set up has to be getting in a fight and your mother finding out. Anything else is stupid. “Yeah I was walking through the mall the other day and then I grabbed someone and told them how I became the fresh prince”

I knew it was going one of two places. That being one of them - the other being: And so we were down on the floor and she says to me, “why don’t you just give up already?” And so I told her: Never gonna give up,

I must be old in the ways of the Internet because as soon as I saw the walls of text I thought: “ends with Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.

The best part is that he keeps the joke going even as his girlfriend threatens to dump him. That’s dedication.

For some reason, this guy’s little made-up story (and its conclusion) just put the biggest, longest smile on my face in days. That counts for something.
