I'm a little bit freaked out by Buzzfeed right now. I got "compassionate". The description is absolutely spot on, down to the hot tea and vegetarianism. Creepy.
Running is what did it for me too. I remember when running a mile was impossible. The thought of running a 5k was terrifying. Now, three miles is my "quick and easy" run. I've struggled with my weight for most of my life, but running makes me feel strong and capable.
I just ran my first half marathon yesterday. I'm still fairly overweight; but, I've learned to focus on being healthy and be proud of what my body can do rather than worrying about physical appearance or living up to some magazine ideal.
