Beyoncé Will Receive The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award At The VMAs

At MTV's upcoming Video Music Awards on Aug. 24, Beyoncé will be honored with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

It's a lifetime achievement award and has been awarded to artists such as Jackson, Madonna, and Britney Spears.

This year, she tops the VMA nominees with eight nominations in categories such as Best Female Video and Video of the Year for "Drunk in Love."
