1. Wage Gap
For every dollar a man makes, a woman only gets 78 cents.
2. Rape
Women all around the world are raped, and sometimes the community doesn't try to stop what's happening. They blame it on the victim instead.
3. Dress Coded
Women are often told how to dress, whether at school or at the office, because they might be "Distractions". Have you ever heard a man being told how to dress?
4. Ignored Brains
Many people refuse to listen to women no matter how right they might be, or how good their idea might be. Women that work in the government have said that their ideas have been ignored, but when a man suggests the same thing, everyone listens.
5. Looks
Many women will find that how they look affects how people value them, and it has nothing to do with their thoughts.
6. Sexual Threats
Women are threatened by males all the time. For instance, "If you don't kiss me I'll fire you!". It's truly heartbreaking.
7. Abortion
Many women try to get an abortion, whether they were raped or they just thought it would be best. Because they try to get an abortion, people tell them it's bad and that they shouldn't. But really, it's their own body and they should be able to decide what to do with it.
8. Can't Do It
Women are told, often starting at a young age that they can't do something, usually because they are a girl. I've heard of father's telling daughters that they can't become an engineer because its a "mans profession". Seriously?
9. Arranged Marriage
Girls are forced into marriage, usually at an age of 14 or so. They then are forced to have children with a man much older. They should be able to chose who to marry.
10. Sex Trafficked
Basically, people are selling women who then get raped and beaten. For example: In northern Iraq, women are taken from villages and put in a big house. Then men can come and BUY them. That's disgusting.
11. Prostitution
Women in poverty are forced to sell their own bodies to support their family. I'm not saying that prostitution isn't bad, but they have no other way to make money, since they are not educated, and they don't want to be prostitutes.
