harrisonfritz a year agoWhy is the Klan comment absurd? That institution preaches hatred and advocates violence against minorities, gays, and people of non-Protestant faith, including other whites. So yes, it is absurd to compare most modern faiths — that actually preach tolerance, love, compassion, and forgiveness — to the Klan. They are two intrinsically opposite organizations. An example would be a Matthew Shephard-type case. The Klan would celebrate it. Western theologies would strongly condemn such behavior.
