    What’s most funny about this is that people actually think this is true, that Hunter was really like this, all the time. Sorry, but Hunter S. Thompson WASN’T Raoul Duke, contrary to popular stupid belief. Look kids, you can keep your fictional version of Hunter, and I’ll take the man who, unfortunately, has become a victim of his own myth. But I’ve read every word he’s ever written, and it didn’t begin and end with Fear and Loathing, and it isn’t all about the drugs and booze.
