I have a theory as to why Uggs are so popular and that the popularity started in my town. In my town people are big fans of Motorsports, especially going to “the desert”, YouTube Imperial Valley Sand Dunes, Glamis, Gordons Well. In the desert it’s COLD! Dads here have been going to the desert for decades, they don’t care what they look like, they just want warm, comfy,sturdy shoes that they can sink their feet into right out of their riding boots. Well they do this in front of their kids obviously, kids want to be like Dads, kids now think uggs are pretty cool, kid wants uggs in their size, girl wants pink uggs, dads everywhere talk about it, uggs hears it, uggs make them. Desert Dads buys (expensive) Uggs for kids, popular rich kids go to school wearing Uggs, now every single teenage girl wants Uggs!

Another example, I was driving home to California very early after a trip to Arizona. When I finally pulled off the highway into town I rolled my windows down and two men in a car pulled up to me at a stop light. The passenger looked at me and made a kissy face, complete with smooching noises and all. A KISSY FACE! Are you kidding me? Naturally, I made a disgusted look and rolled up my window. So he said “fuck you, bitch”. Then the light turned green and I never saw him again. Keep it classy guys!

At my last job I worked at a motorcycle shop. One of the mechanics would whistle at me EVERY TIME I walked into the back to do anything, take out the trash, put a package by the receiving door, anything. I worked there for a year and a half. At first I would nervously laugh and say thank you then I would try to ignore it. Then he would try to hug me and ask me if I like to dance and if I wanted to go out dancing with him even though i told him i was engaged and unavailable. It was crazy. I’m glad I don’t work there anymore.

I worked at CVS for 3 years and every week it seemed like someone would explode shit all over the bathroom. I also had this one lady spray silly string all over the toy aisle in front of her kid, when she realized she got caught she proceeded to tell me where to put it, vulgarly, also in front of her kid.

Oliver and company is the shit, rescuers down under is the shit, and the great mouse detective is also the shit. 3 great Disney classics.

Brings back memories. Especially the little plane carrying the mail in the first one.
