Ray Bradbury “To Hell With the Internet.”

Rad Bradbury slammed the internet in the New York Times last week. In an interview in defense of libraries, Bradbury said: “The Internet is a big distraction”. He followed up with an anecdote about a recent conversation with Yahoo! “Yahoo called me eight weeks ago, they wanted to put a book of mine on Yahoo! You know what I told them? ‘To hell with you. To hell with you and to hell with the Internet.’ It’s distracting, it’s meaningless; it’s not real. It’s in the air somewhere.” posted on June 24, 2009 at 4:29pm EDT
