The Walton clan owns 48% of Walmart stock and are billionaires many times over. Yet they refuse to pay a decent living wage or to provide benefits to workers, keeping many of them in part time status at less than $10 per hour in order to keep profits obscenely high. Walmart is just the new model of the old sweat shop and company store, combined.
