I’m a fan of the theories that John Hurt is the Doctor that fills in the gap between Paul McGann’s Doctor and Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor.  On the one hand, I would be happier finding out that Hurt’s Doctor is some kind of transformed version of McGann’s Doctor, or that McGann’s Doctor was some kind of inadequately regenerated version of Hurt’s Doctor (especially since McGann’s Doctor was so weird) then to have all the Doctors re-numbered. On the other hand, the possibility that something could so thoroughly destroy the Doctor’s memory of one of his own regenerations, adds another interesting element to the mythology. tl;dr: As long as they don’t erase Christopher Eccleston, who I adore, I’m happy either way.

George Harrison. It was 1985. I was 11. I had, of course, a crush not on George as he actually looked in 1985, but on very young George as he appeared in ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. I knew intellectually that he no longer looked like that, but it didn’t seem particularly relevant.

I’m sorry, I can’t hear any of you over the sound of how awesome that picture of Sean Bean is.
