Tell Us About Your Educational Non-Traditional Path

"Experience is the teacher of all things." - Julius Caesar

A lot of us are expected to make a huge life decision when we are teenagers: What do we do after we graduate high school?

Some people go to college. Some people don't go at all. Some take time before college for financial or personal reasons.

I have A.D.D. and didn't get great grades in high school. I wasn't ready to go to college at 17. I tried community colleges but never lasted more than a semester. I loved learning, but I grew to learn that attending a 4-year school wasn't right for me. I was depressed and felt like a failure. But mostly, I felt alone.

Whenever I read stories online from people who created their own non-traditional paths to success, it made me feel better. When I felt lonely, I went looking online for people like me.

So, let's share stories. Let's talk about our experiences! If you took or are currently taking your own non-traditional path, tell us about it!
