Don't Fall Victim To The Adele Placebo Effect

It's important that you're honest here.

Adele is known for her powerful ballads and heart-wrenching songs. Her lyrics always seem to hit you right where it hurts.

She's an incredibly talented vocalist whose unique vocal timbre and style evokes a whole mess of emotions for a lot of listeners. This effect has even been portrayed in SNL sketches.

After 25, her new album which she calls a "make-up album," was released, many people claimed to be "listening to Adele in the dark" and "crying to Adele."

But are they just hopping on the meme bandwagon? Are people actually sobbing hysterically? Is everyone sad? Hopefully the results of this poll will help answer these questions.

So, the question is: Does Adele really make you that sad?

(It's okay if you made a Facebook status about crying to Adele. Everyone lies on the internet.)

Stay tuned next week when we ask: Is Nickelback actually that bad?
