gpdrometer 10 months agoif Romney goes down this road it’ll be impossible to backpedal if/when it blows up in his face. there’s a reason why Clinton and then McCain left certain topics off their stump speeches and its not because they wanted to give Obama a comfortable campaign. harsh personal attacks don’t work on opponents who are more likable because when you attack someone who is likable, voters think of you as a douchebag. so Romney needs to focus on coming off as less of a douchebag (good luck bro) and leave the character assassinations to Rush Limbaugh.
