  • How Obama Got Elected (Right Wing Site)

Politics Buzz Google searchers are looking for “How Obama Got Elected” — a slick right wing site that claims the liberal media and ignorant voters are the only reason a guy with “limited experience, extreme liberal positions and radical political alliances could be elected President.” Are you serious? African chanting to start a video attacking Obama?! And then interviews with a handful of Obama supporters to “prove” they are ignorant? Why don't we interview the millions of Americans who think Obama is a Muslim to prove the media has a right wing bias? Ignorance has no party allegiance.

  • Yet more proof that America lets stupid people vote.

  • According the polling, one out of 10 americans thinks that Obama was a muslim. And of those who believed that, all but a tiny amount voted McCain. Which means that 1/5 or 20% of the total vote for McCain was by Americans too stupid to understand that Obama was NOT a muslim. With that kind of math in play, no amount of anecdotal video is ever going to convince anyone in the middle. It's just trying to make the 20%, who are literally too dumb to figure out basic facts, feel better about their vote. This is a sound strategy that will surely help them to build a new diverse base for the 2012 election. I advise all on the right to support this exercise wholeheartedly. That way the democratic majority can last another 20 years.

  • And what I think was meant to be communicated by the “Right-Wing Site” moniker is that the video was not produced by a non-partisan think tank, or a research institution (Gallup, Zogby, Reuters, AP, etc.). This video was made with an agenda - making Obama voters look stupid - by a right wing group.  …which is interesting when you see that voters who were college-educated voted for Obama over McCain by a 6-point margin, and voters who recieved a postgraduate education voted Obama by a 27 point margin over McCain (according to Gallup Research. [I don't know they're probably the 'biased, liberal media', too.] Bottom line, all the “right wing” subtitle is meant to communicate is that the video is speculative, not researched or factual. And its not. So there.

  • K.L. - good thing we have you around to even us out. :) BuzzFeed does its absolute best to include everything from all across the web, without a bias or filter. If you don't like the direction BuzzFeed is headed, they welcome your comments via email. But if you don't feel like you're being heard, or that the site is speaking to your views, either contribute some buzz on your profile (which can later be posted on the main page), or maybe you'd be best served finding somewhere else to blather and fume.  If BuzzFeed doesn't do it for you, we're all terribly sorry but as our parents taught us, “you can't please everyone.”

  • Life isn't a comic book where you can do horrific things to others and still be called a hero. I'm proud to be a liberal. I'm proud of Obama's integrity. He's going to be the best president our country has ever had and the numbers will prove it just as they've proved Bush was the worst. Thank God for the death of the rovian repuglican party. Looking forward to seeing Republicans again someday. This is America. Integrity matters - no matter what Fox fake news says to the contrary.

  • KL, you think you can measure the truth of your statement by looking at how angry someone else's response is?

  • You can tell how liberal a site/article is when they have to put (Right Wing Site) in the title to warn the Obamatards. You can also see how close to the truth you are by the amount of vitriol you get from the liberal who responds.
