Yawn. You’re so played out. I’m actually African and I think ‘African American’ is no different than saying Irish American or Scandinavian American. They’re American AND African American. Let people identify how they want. You should ask the traffickers who purposely did not document where their slaves came from. I guess African American was better than Negro and easier than “Assorted West and/or Central African countries whose boundaries were drawn by Europeans with no regard to local socio-ethinc history further confusing the matter plus give or take 1 or 2 white guys rape-American”. Identification was a Privilege that was taken away from slaves and knowing where you come from is a psychological thing. You can sit there and be all snide but if you asked white Americans what parts of Europe their families were from there’s no real need to be a generic European American because they CAN answer it.
