1. Large Portion Sizes

I'm almost positive the large cup they sell at McDonalds is identical to the small in America.

2. Cheap Fast Food

While we're on the topic of fast food, the prices in Europe are waaaay to high. No one wants to pay 8 euros for a McDonald's cheeseburger. No one. The quality might be better, but I do not care about quality when purchasing fast food.

3. Car Culture

...this is a hard one to own up to, but some days you really want to drive to class rather than take your bike or the bus.

4. High Flush Toilets

I'm all about saving water, but I am not about having to clean the toilets becuase there is not enough water in them to get everything down.

5. Going home at 2am

It can be fun to stay out until 5am in Europe, but you are guaranteed to regret it the next day. I start to fade around 3, and have to suffer through the last 2 hours. All of this would be avoided, if the bars closed at 2am like the do in America. Remember, nothing good happens after 2am.

6. Limes with Tequila shots

I'm not entirely sure why the serve lemons with tequila shots, but I just don't like it.

7. Patterned clothing

The only patterns Europeans seem to embrace is stripes and the occasional tame floral print. They love their solid neutral colored outfits.

8. 24 hr libraries

Some days it's nice to be forced to go home at midnight, but other days I wanna suffer through the wee hours of the morning.

9. Too much ice

I used to get annoyed by all the ice I received in my beverages. I thought I was getting ripped off, but noooooooo, ice is magical. In Europe you rarely find drinks with ice and them, and when you do, they make your day.

10. Knowing that when you go home you'll miss Europe everyday.
