When you get your hair buzzed that short, a camera flash can make it appear patchy since the light is able to reflect off your scalp due to the hair’s short length. So the parts where the light has reflected look like they have no hair/thin hair, while the parts that aren’t reflected look covered. So I doubt it’s terrible as the pics make it look. Not a fan of the guy’s movies, but no reason to hate on him cuz someone took a bad pic of his new ‘do.

In general, that looks like just a bad haircut. Its very thin in parts and in other pictures there are longer parts. It honestly looks like a kid took scissors to his hair :/ If it was a good haircut it would have looked so much better!
