      Yep. That gave me chills too. It does beg a question I never thought to ask before though. Why not left? I mean, you could argue that it’s because we read left to right… but Super Mario Bros. (arguably the first major platformer) is Japanese, and Japanese books are read right to left (when written vertically, that is). So… hm. What is it that signifies the right as progress, and the left as going back? Certainly not the American political system (Ha-ha. Ouch. Stop throwing things at me). The number line, perhaps, signifying an increase in numbers when moving to the right? Or is it something else (hopefully not incredibly obvious that I’m missing and that people will point and laugh at me for years to come)? I’m having trouble imagining it right now. If someone flipped that video around, and called it, “Go Left,” my brain would probably explode.
