A new study by Wired of the New York sex industry has yielded some fascinating insights into the career of a high tech hooker. For example, prostitutes prefer BlackBerrys over iPhones. Also, hand jobs in the Bronx cost $75 plus a shot of liquor. Reams more data over at Wired (although a ream costs extra).

Brian H. 2 years agoI found the article a bit off from the truth. More girls have pimps than will admit it, like 99%. If they smoke the cigarette of choice are Newports. I’ve never seen the two phone be a standard. Girls will generally have some sort of ID. Those that don’t have something going on ie: underage, warrants, or illegal alienage. If you get nabbed by vice you will spend more time in county if they can’t ID you. Getting a 48-72 hr hold means no money for daddy. So they want to get out of jail asap.
