The Electric Daisy Riot
At yesterday’s premiere of a documentary about the Electric Daisy Carnival, an electronic and dance music fest, a riot broke out as thousands of people showed up for the accompanying block party in Los Angeles. Police shut down a large swath of Hollywood Boulevard, a squad car was burned and beanbag guns were used on the unruly mob. The streets ran neon red with cracked glow sticks. Oh, and there was planking.

Douglas Heidland a year agoIt is amazing to me that when I was a teen, which was in the 80s, no other teen I knew at the time would have considered this type of behavior “Cool” or “Fun”. Today’s kids appear to be wholly over entitled and over privileged.
