Target Is Selling Gay Pride T-Shirts
The shirts are only available online through June, and Target has donated thousands of dollars to an anti-equality political candidate in the past, but still… Up to $120,000 of profits from the shirts will go to support the Family Equality Council, an LGBT advocacy group. Multiple styles of the following 4 patterns are available.

snowflakechewy a year agoThey didn’t directly give to an anti-gay program. Target gave to a campaign company which would loosen regulations (and what business want more regulations?), and the campaign company gave to Tom Emmer. It’s not their fault for what others did with the money. If you buy something illegal, do the police arrest your employer because you spent the money they gave you? And anyway, they later apologized and stopped the donations. I do think these shirts are to cash in on the trend of gay-acceptance, not to try to win back people, considering many stores have already taken up this trend and Target is just jumping on the bandwagon.
