I find this somewhat hypocritical. Don’t get me wrong, I’m devastated, heck I live in the same state but why doesn’t he shed any tears when his drones kill innocent kids in Pakistan and Afghanistan and how many other civilians have been killed in the US Military Campaigns. Anyone who has one word to write accusing our President of ‘crocodile tears’ or commenting on the “size of his [testicles]” should be so much more than ASHAMED of themselves… using an article on an unabashed demonstration of HATRED and sheer evil directed upon children as a venue for your partisan hatred is about as vile as the crime itself. Get your head out of your bias for a moment and pay respect to those killed and their families. Surely, that can’t only be a Democrat value?

Gun control is NOT the answer. Please look at the whole big picture. The vast majority of gun owners are responsible law abiding citizens. There are always sadly exceptions to the rule but you don’t punish everyone for one persons evil deeds.

  No, but you do institute regulations that keep people safe. Gun laws curently do not facilitate safety, they encourage proliferation which increases the likelihood of a tragedy like this being possible. Its time for the country to take back its safety fromthe gun nuts.

What strength and courage this man has. President Obama will go down as the best president of all time because he actually deep down cares for every American on an emotional level that can’t be matched. Republicans only wish they had one politician on their side who can show a hint of emotion other than blind anger and hate, especially towards those who aren’t rich, white, and male.

I’m shocked he would be seen crying. I mean come on if fake or not the most powerful man in the world should never been seen crying. Don’t get me wrong I have a lot of respect for him and I am British. I don’t really know what to make of this. He just comes across as weak, I find it uncomfortable to watch because of who he is.

  It’s fine to show emotion, I could never trust a leader who is not emotionally involved in his work. The man is a father and 20 beautiful innocent children were brutally gunned down in cold blood today. I cried too and I’m crying now writing this. This is his country and he’s shedding tears for his citizens. I wouldn’t expect any other reaction from him or any man.

  To be perfectly honest I don’t know what to write in response as it is such a tragedy and in retrospect I should not really be focusing on the actions of your president over what has happened. You are both right, I was viewing it from the wrong side. Honestly though if last week I had to put all my money on the one person I would never see cry ever it would have been him.
