this is just a good example of what happens when you take the bible literally, so literally that you go batshit insane! i’m Christian but i believe the bible is open for interpretation, to me the rapture is individual, when a person dies and they will then be judged by God. saying this though i also believe in the light theory, that you don’t have to be a Christian to go to heaven; all you have to do is be a peaceful loving and understanding person, God looks at your heart and what is inside it and how well you treated other people. treat others the way you would like to be treated. so many Christians put to much emphasis on when Jesus died and when he will return, they miss the point of why Jesus was really sent, to bring peace by example and by doing and by being understanding of others and not judging. God wants a religion of the heart, not a religion of a book written by man!
