This Wednesday, April 11, 2012 booking photo provided by the Sanford Police Department shows George Zimmerman. Zimmerman, 28, the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder Wednesday after weeks of mounting tensions and protests across the country. His attorney, Mark O’Mara, said his client would plead not guilty.

LegendOfBacon a year agoRegardless of what we think he did, let’s not forget that he’s innocent until proven guilty. He is entitled to a fair trial by a jury of his peers. I did not witness what happened between him and Trayvon Martin, and so as much as I would like to see him sentenced to prison for a very long time, it’s not my place to pass judgment on him. That is up to whichever Florida citizens are unlucky enough to have their names drawn from the proverbial hat.
