The Junos are not the Canadian version of the Grammys. The Grammys include musicians from all over the world, whereas the Junos only are for Canadian artists.
The Much Music Video Awards are like the MTV awards, except that every winner announcement is followed by “aaaand ______ couldn’t make it tonight so we accept this on their behalf” lol
