    People that get appointed to Republican administrations normally make donations to the Republican candidate during the campaign. Same with Democrats. Elected officials are obviously going to have donors in their administrations being a part of the same political party. It’s a stretch to say they donors are being rewarded.  The Romney campaign currently is criticizing Obama for doling out stimulus money to donors for their businesses. Massive difference.
