Los Angeles county animal control officials are heralding the loyalty of a black Labrador retriever that braved traffic to stay by another dog that was fatally struck by a car. It’s a sad and moving story.

      OK, to all the people judging the passersby, did you even read the link?
      1- One of them set traffic cones so the dogs would be safe.
      2- Someone called Animal Control to help them.
      3- The black dog “wouldn’t leave his partners side”, so pulling him off to safety wasn’t an option.
      4-The other dog was already dead.

      I think instead of making a video, the person behind the camera should have rescued the dog from the middle of the street. Leaving it there not only endangered the injured dog of getting hit again, but the companion could have gotten hurt as well.
