This article is rather poorly written. As to #2, all objects with mass have gravity. Therefore, there is still some gravity in the ISS, but it is so small that is known as “micro-gravity” and is barely noticeable. #4: lightning only rarely strikes the same place twice, and the Empire State building was designed to act as a lightning rod. #7: In comparison to say, chimpanzees or gorillas, dolphins aren’t geniuses. But compared to most animals, like dogs, mice, or lizards, they are extremely advanced. Also: ever heard of a little thing called echolocation? Whales and dolphins use it to communicate. #8: No one is born practicing a skill. Just because you can do something doesn’t mean that you know you can do it. #9: According to NASA, you would die of oxygen deprivation long before you would freeze to death. After ten seconds of exposure, your skin and underlying tissue would swell slightly, and your saliva would boil off. After about 15 seconds, you would pass out due to lack of oxygen, and after two minutes, you’d be dead. Your blood would not boil. #11: Skipping breakfast forces your body to go into starvation-mode, therefore slowing down your metabolism, which over time, may cause weight gain. And lastly #12: We only use portions of our brains at a time. If we used 100% of our brains 100% of the time, too many neurons would fire at once and we could possibly die. So we only use certain parts of our brains to do certain activities, but when we add it all up, we do use all of our brain in a single day.
