The New Thing: Angry Thursdays

According to some new Twitter research, tweets are the most furious on Thursdays: “Could ‘Angry Thursdays’ be the next to trend on the networking site? A new study traced key words linked to particular moods and their frequencies in tweets. As it turns out, people are angrier on Thursdays — yes, even more so than on Mondays. Researchers from Northeastern and Harvard also ran tweets from the last three years against a word list to plot the country’s happiness throughout the day. As expected, people are also unhappy during the hours of the standard work day.
