how long did ancient Romans last? i mean really? Roman Kingdom 753 BC – 509 BC Roman Republic 508 BC – 27 BC, not counting the Roman Empire mainly because that’s when they converted to Christianity and got rid of people who were gay or had gay tendencies! all civilizations will come to an end, its called evolving! also heard a great comeback for people who think gay marriage is wrong. somebody told me how excited they were for gay marriage to be legal, a religious woman came up to them and said basically same thing old Robby boy said. he quipped back that in actuality, traditional marriage (in the good old testament days where people get the meaning usually) was between a man and his property soooo….yeah! also Sodom and Gomorrah was actually about how lazy the people were, and how selfish and greedy, not that they were all about gay sex! gonna quote the bible do it right!

You know what’s dissatisfying? Mr. Robertson forgot that God said the Sodomites’ sin was not helping the poor and needy.

Actually Rome had embraced homosexuality since the beginning. They didn’t have a book to tell them it was wrong so they didn’t care. HOWEVER, it should be noted that Rome DID embrace something completely different shortly before it fell… Christianity. (just sayin)

Has there been a civilization that didn’t embrace homosexuality and managed to survive? None of the current nations on Earth existed 1000 years ago.
