#5 is actually a protester for gay marriage making fun of the way the religious pick and choose their beliefs.

I love seeing ironic & funny signs.

#29 is actually valid: reducing lanes on a road that flows into a larger one can help ease congestion there, even to the point where one lane is faster than two lanes.

#25 is right by my house. I've always laughed at that sign.

Why is 10 useless or hypocritical? Confined spaces in mixing tanks are not to be messed with! I think it's missing some context.

Umm… 35 is nothing but a bunch signs waiting to be placed at a fair, etc. Of course they point in different directions when they are in storage. Fail.

I'd say #5 is sarcastic, considering the flag she's holding just below the sign.

I agree that many of these are meant to be funny. I don't agree that most are photoshopped. There really are a lot of stupid people on this planet and I'm sure most of these signs are needed somewhere.

Sigh. Unfortunately I must report that #32 is no joke. I've walked past it many times, and it always leads me to wonder where on earth common sense has gone.

I'm sure Josh meant “50 Ironic or Useless Signs.” Hypocritical insinuates moral beliefs, and because signs aren't people, they are incapable of dubious morality. Just sayin'…

Regarding sign #19…I grew up near that sign. I always took it to mean “experiment with using your other senses”. I used to close my eyes as a kid while on the trail and wonder what it would be like to be blind. I don't think it's a useless sign at all. :-)
