Harry Styles was mobbed to the point of tears in Paris on April 29, 2013.
Styles on his way to rehearsal to meet his bandmates, was met with a couple hundred screaming One Direction fanatics— reportedly with no security at all!
A photog present at the insane scene recounts:
“No security was there! Therefore, a photographer, a cook from the hotel, the chauffeur had to help out in order for poor little Harry to make it to his car.”
While making his way through 1D fans ripping and clawing their way to get to him, the One Direction star burst into tears. A fan reportedly yanking on his arm so hard was the catalyst of the tears—but I think fearing for your life among a crowd of teenage girls could really be the reason, I get uncomfortable walking past two, imagine being met with almost 300 hundred. Styles might have come to a point of realization that his life will indeed never be the same, sparking the tears.
Styles had a crazy day in Paris from the get-go regarding the superfanatic French fans of the international boy band One Direction. At the beginning of his stay, a mob of fans waited outside the airport to meet Styles, who was accompanied by limited security. Leaving his hotel was when Styles encountered another cluster of girls, this time by the hundreds.
None of the other boys while in Paris were met the same magnitude of girls, this was a special case for Styles.

No one deserves to be treated that way. Celebrities are people, you know, humans!? They have bones and feelings, and they get hurt. What happened to Harry is inexcusable on two counts: Paris fans should get their shit together and realize that you probably shouldn’t attempt to kill the celebrity you’re infatuated with just so you can touch his shoulder, and the management responsible for setting up a security team for Harry should be fired.
Unfortunately this is the type of situations he’ll always have to encounter but possibly if his management team had actually provided him with security it could have went differently. This is a lot for a 19-year-old to handle, and while he is a member of an international band and these are the consequences, fans should behave better.
Whether you like One Direction or not, respect the fact that these are the people they have to deal with every day and have some empathy towards it.
