After 100 police told residents in the Chinese city of Nanjing to avoid a pool of oozing evil foam earlier this week, here’s 10 unexplained liquids you’re probably best off leaving for the proper authorities. Especially that last one…

1.Oozing evil foam

You really don't need 100 police to tell you to avoid whatever seeps from several metre-long cracks in the bulging street, like this effort from Nanjing, China last week.

2. Blobs of white jelly in fields in Perthshire and the Pentlands, Scotland

Especially when it’s never been seen before, covers you in metre-long sheets and looks like the gaping maw of a giant exogorth.

Found in the Rockies, Moraine Lake… which is known for its distinct blue color.

10. And anything which falls from the sky and makes everyone ill
