Being A Fan: Then Vs. Now

Everybody’s talkin’ about the good old days. But who says they’re gone for good? Join Fan Freedom and put the power back in the hands of concertgoers just like you.

1. Then…

Camping out for tickets was all worth it for that sweet, sweet moment when you got that slip of paper in your clutches.

Now…

Refreshing your browser tens of thousands of times is an endurance test for your clicker finger.

2. Then…

Tickets were in the hands of real fans, and real fans only.

Now…

Big ticket sites, scalpers, and bots snag almost all the tickets, pitting fans against one another for the last few nosebleeds.

3. Then…

Affordable tickets for all!

Now…

Welcome to 2013, where even the cheap seats cost as much as your student loans.

4. Then…

The only “extra fee” you had to worry about was dropping a dime on some pre-show snacks.

Now…

Convenience fees! Venue fees! Service fees! Oh, my!

5. Then…

Security was about crowd control, not Captcha control.

Now…

Confusing security codes keep you trapped in digital waiting rooms for hours on end.

6. Then…

Bring whoever you want to whatever show you want! As long as you have a ticket, the more the merrier.

Now…

If your name isn’t on the ticket, then you don’t get in the door. Period.

7. There has to be a better way.
