Strunk & White's Elements of Internet Style
The first in a new series of usage rules for the web.
1. Form the gerund of LOL with the -ing in the correct place.
Follow this rule whenever you are writing about the active LOL, with the -ing attached to the verb laugh. Thus it's "Her post had me LingOL," and not "I am currently LOLing."
