fadgearse 2 years agoseriously the character is a white dude - how about we get a white guy play Martin Luther King or Malcolm X or Shaft. Sheehse political correctness gone wrong. Screw it it’s only skin - why not let a women play Spiderman - should it matter. This is retarded.

Indya J. 2 years agoMalcolm X was a real person. Shaft was a character in the blaxploitation genre of film therefore his ethnicity is a large part of his character. Race, as far as I’m aware, is not and never has been an issue in Spider Man comic books, nor is Spider Man marketed as a “great white American hero” so I don’t see how the change could hurt.
