Oh please.. the kid isn't in distress and knew he wasn't supposed to go back there. If you immediately fix every situation for them they learn nothing. It's not like he wasn't touching the floor or couldn't breathe or was bleeding - he just couldnt get out like he wanted to. Those of you saying this is horrible obviously dont have children.. if he was so traumatized he wouldn't care about the toys still being under there. He's a little character. My bigger concern is why werent the parents watching him when he decided to jump over the couch into a plugged in lamp?

for the love of God - get the poor kid out and stop publicizing your “lesson learning” or whatever you were trying to do. it's not funny when the kid is asking for help so much

Simple solution: Move the fucking couch away from the wall so the kid can get out.

The kid is adorable, his little speech is adorable, but what the f*ck is with the parents laughing at him while he's distressed and suffering? It's like the more he cried, the harder they laughed - I'm so sick of these exploitative videos that are taken purely to “entertain” the masses… it's not fair on little kids. If you insist on taking video footage of your kid in an absurd situation, the LEAST you can do is keep it amongst close friends and family.  So no “LOL” tag here. Not even close.
