I have to agree this isn't any more exploitative than those horribly creepy child beauty pageants; just add a “talent show” pretense plus some little miss stripper costumes. Both are the overt sexualization of children, and this is “controversial” simply because it doesn't pretend to be something else.

If…….. the photographer just added some champagne, a Quaalude, and a rich film director; the picture could hang in the Louvre.

I would say that photo is overtly sexual. I'm not normally a prude, but I think this pushes the limits of legal.

Everyone just take a good look at the Websters definitions of “Child” and “Pornography”…. that should probably settle it.
