yeah, that guy is incredibly brave, but also incredibly dumb. he really doesnt know what he’s doing and is very lucky he didnt get bit.  also, FUCK THAT.

I live in Tempe, about 10 miles south of Scottsdale.  I’ve lived here long enough to come across my share of rattlesnakes, scorpions, and other various things worth avoiding. About 2 months ago I came within five feet of a rattlesnake on a trail run in the east valley. It lashed out at me and started doing it rattling thing, just like in the video. Last Sunday night I killed a three inch long Scorpion in my friends’ apartment in South Scottdale.  It’s a different world out here in the desert.

You know they have professionals for that. Who’s the idiot who decides he’s gonna do it himself.
