strange. buzzfeed “knows” about my facebook account, even though, as far as i know, i have all external platform interfacing (or whatever you call it) turned off. WTFingF.

On Facebook, I would leave a totally different comment than I would leave on BuzzFeed for the same content . I would guess that it will lead to watered down, more generic responses on Buzzfeed. Jack , will you guys be addressing any of the other recent changes ? The new badges and stuff are kinda confusing.

I have Adblock, but this still shows up, and I don’t see the little “block” tab that usually appears above ads. I don’t really know how all that stuff works, so if anyone knows how to block these social plugins without actually interfering with facebook, pleeeease post it here.

I agree, Adblock is wonderful for this kind of stuff. I have a Facebook right now to keep in touch with a few select friends; I really don’t want/need more FB interaction on websites. It’s getting ridiculous. FB should be for friends. Not bosses, not flash games, not stupid quizzes, not sharing crap. We’ve got LinkedIn, Kongregate/Newgrounds, Quizilla/OKCupid/Etc., Stumble/Reddit/Digg for that.

I come on here to get away from Facebook.

LAME, buzzfeed. I thought you were too good for this. Everyone knows only internet n00bs use Facebook commenting on other sites.

I agree that there should be an option to minimize it. Buzzfeed users often leave funny/interesting comments that I would like to read but I do not want to scroll through a bunch of facebook shit to get to them.

Can we please get an option to have it minimized for those that choose when logged in? I always loved the clean look of buzzfeed now with facebook comments it’s making it feel over crowded and messy.
