I don't understand what the obsession with minimalism is. It's hardly ever effective.

Kinda boring…and for some of the food products, not very functional either.  For example, if you had no clue what nutella was and saw that simplified package, there's no way to tell that it's a spread, and not just some brown paint in a jar. Even if you've never heard of the brand, in most cases you need to have some idea of whats in the package you're about to purchase.
