2001 was a good year for memes. It brings me back to my youth. To simpler times when people actually sent email forwards and blogs were only for geeks. The old/new ratio is 1/12 btw. You can check the archives if you don't believe me. We shoot for that number in our editorial meetings. Like a pop station that sometimes plays a classic for nostalgia's sake.
Welcome to the internet, folks. Sometimes old stuff comes back to life. How does one kill meme-zombies?
WELL IT'S TRUE! Buzzfeed posts OLD OLD stuff and sometimes reposts stuff they posted already. I've been reading buzzfeed since it started and it's getting a little lame. Just saying
My God, how quickly you people turn on me. I regret nothing! Nothing, I tell you!
Geez, my gramma showed me this last year. :( C'mon BuzzFeed!
Great job again Buzzfeed. Keep on bringing us more of last years news! You guys are the best at showing up late to the party. Where's the OLD tag?
This was featured on Radar (the no defunct good Radar) a while ago and included correspondence to the Menendez Brothers (creepy) and Charles Manson (interestingly bizarre).
Wow… I hate to repeat what a lot of people are saying, but BuzzFeed really is showing a lot of “old” stuff lately. It also seems like they are not even checking their archives, cuz I know some of this stuff has already been on this very site already.
Where's the “disappointing” button?
