Kim Munley is the Texas police officer who shot the Fort Hood gunman, Major Nidal Hasan, to end his killing spree that left 13 victims dead at Fort Hood. Sergeant Munley was the first armed officer on the scene, and she managed to hit Hasan four times, though she was shot in the process, injuring both of her legs. Kimberly Munley is currently in stable condition, and can expect a hero's welcome when she recovers.
