If the fucking terrorists weren’t such fucking pussies this would not be the case. And anyways, the majority of those civilian deaths were killed by the insurgents themselves either directly or as a result of an IED.
Don’t be afraid to show stuff like this if you’re talking about the war.
This is a good visual, but doesn’t include the full scope of civilian casualties. Studies like the Lancet’s that compare expected deaths vs. observed deaths have found that war conditions have caused well over a million (I think it’s passed 1.5 million now) civilian deaths among Iraqis due to the war, and the government that started the war is responsible for those under international law.
The civilians got the short end of the stick in this conflict. :( Sucks.
