Internet's 40th Birthday!

According to what is probably a fairly arbitrary metric, today is the Internet's 40th birthday!!! On September 2, 1969, two computers at UCLA passed data to each other through a 15-foot gray cable.

Now, 40 years later, we have the capability to watch videos of cats riding around on vacuum cleaners. Happy (arbitrary) Birthday, Internet. We've come so far together. What was your first experience with the Internet?
